Competition
To promote the collection of high-quality scientific data, our competition focuses on recording as many species as possible rather than maximizing the total number of observations. We value observations that meet important quality criteria, such as carefully documented photographs of wild organisms (not planted, cultivated, or captive individuals) and accurate accompanying metadata, including GPS coordinates and observation dates.

Individual Category
The top three individuals with the highest number of recorded species within the Olomouc iNaturalist project will be awarded.
Group Category
School classes that have a separate project created on iNaturalist can compete in this category. The top three groups with the highest number of recorded species within the Olomouc iNaturalist project will be awarded.

The Regional Museum has prepared an activity within its natural science exhibition for participants, which will take them outdoors and help train their observation skills. It has selected some common, less common, and rare species that you may encounter in Olomouc, and you will also be able to view them in the museum first. Your task is to find them as quickly as possible, photograph them, and upload them to iNaturalist.
